About Kauai
Kauai, also known as the 'Garden Island', is the oldest of the Hawaiian islands and impresses with a mixture of lush vegetation, dramatic cliffs and endless beaches. The island not only offers breathtaking landscapes, but also unique culture and history. Particularly famous are the Na Pali Coast with its steep rock formations and the Waimea Canyon, also known as the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific'. Kauai is a true paradise for nature lovers.

In December 2024, I visited Kauai to capture the breathtaking nature and the special flair of the island. With my digital camera, I mainly documented the impressive landscapes, hikes and the island flight. The photos not only show the diversity of the island, but also the special details that make Kauai so unique. It was a great experience that I was happy to capture in pictures.
